The 2025 Taiyuan Marathon route will be set on Yingze Avenue, Binhe East Road, Binhe West Road, and other roads that represent the highest standards of Taiyuan's urban roads. At that time, tens of thousands of athletes from China and abroad will be able to demonstrate their athletic abilities while enjoying the most beautiful urban scenery of the city.

Yingze Avenue starts from Dongzhonghuan Road in the east and extends to Xiji Road in the west, with a total length of 12.3 kilometers and a width of 70 meters. The road serves as the central axis of Taiyuan and is known as "the First Street of Shanxi".

Binhe East Road and Binhe West Road are both more than 60 km long. The entire main road does not have traffic lights, and they are the earliest-built and longest urban expressways in Taiyuan. The 30-meter-wide green belts on both sides allow these two roads to have green in all seasons and flowers in three seasons.

The Fenhe River, the second largest tributary of the Yellow River and the mother river of Shanxi, divides Taiyuan into eastern and western halves and brings endless spirituality and charm to this historical and cultural city with a history of more than 2,500 years.

The Fenhe River Scenic Area's water quality meets or exceeds the surface water Class III standard. Within the 8.5 square kilometers of green space, more than 230 kinds of trees and flowers are planted, and more than 40 cultural attractions are arranged. Throughout the year, 165 species of birds either migrate or inhabit the scenic area.
