The digital economy and motor manufacturing specialized towns from Taiyuan's Xiaodian district, comprising three industrial parks and 17 enterprises, recently participated in Datong city's 3rd Shanxi Characteristic Professional Town for Investment and Trade Expo.

They displayed 53 innovative products, including emergency communication quadruped robots, flat portable satellites, fire extinguishing drones, exoskeleton robots, and YE6 series high-efficiency, energy-saving motors, showcasing the latest development achievements of the two towns.

Xiaodian's booths attracted the attention of merchants and visitors, many of whom tried on exoskeleton robots to experience the convenience brought about by digital technology. They marveled at the programming performance of the humanoid dancing robots and highly praised the transformation results of Xiaodian's scientific and technological innovations.

Since 2023, Shanxi has prioritized the construction of characteristic specialized towns as a key starting point for promoting the province's manufacturing power, transformation, and development, enhancing the quality of the county-level economy and enriching the people through employment opportunities.

The expo has emerged as an important platform for Shanxi manufacturing to expand its market, helping more "famous, high-quality, special, and new" products reach the whole country and overseas.

In the future, Xiaodian will strengthen project investment promotion by inviting major enterprises to participate in exhibitions, promoting investment, and expanding cooperation opportunities in the upstream and downstream industrial chains to achieve supply chain supplementation, strengthening, and extension.
