The 2025 Shanxi (Taiyuan) Energy Industry Expo is taking place from Sept 27 to 29 at the Shanxi Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, coinciding with the 2025 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum.

The expo aims to create a high-level platform integrating exhibitions, high-end dialogues, trade negotiations, and international cooperation. By showcasing the latest achievements and future trends in the energy industry's green and low-carbon transition, the event has drawn global attention to innovative practices across the modern energy supply chain.

Covering an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, the expo features eight special zones: the Theme Image Zone, International Zone, Green Power Zone, Comprehensive Energy Enterprises Zone, Energy Technology Innovation Zone, New Energy Zone, Smart Energy Zone, and Green Equipment Zone. These zones highlight innovative advancements throughout the entire energy industry chain.

The Theme Image Zone showcases Shanxi's exploration and implementation of the "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation" energy security strategy. The International Zone gathers over 30 renowned global companies, including Tesla from the United States, ABB from Switzerland, and SEW from Germany, showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as hydrogen solutions and intelligent equipment.

A highlight of this year's expo is the newly established Green Power Zone, which emphasizes Shanxi's achievements in local green power resource conversion, low-carbon industrial transformation, and green power industrial park development, expanding the potential scenarios for green power applications.

The expo has brought together over 500 leading companies, trade associations, universities, and research institutions from the energy sector, both domestically and internationally. Meanwhile, delegations from South Korea, Ordos city, and Yulin city, alongside local industrial clusters, are participating in collective efforts to establish a robust network for energy industry cooperation.
