The 2025 Jueweishan Red Leaves Culture and Tourism Series Event in Jiancaoping district, Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, kicked off on Oct 13.

The event integrates historical culture with the natural environment, presenting tourists with a colorful autumn picture.

Jueweishan has been a scenic spot in Shanxi since ancient times. Every late autumn, smoketrees and maple leaves ignite the landscape with fiery and rosy hues, covering the mountains and plains in red and attracting countless tourists.

This year's event featured a variety of activities such as mountain climbing, cycling, mobile phone photography competitions, harvest celebrations, and Fushan Boxing Competitions. These experiences allowed tourists to enjoy the beauty of Jiancaoping's mountains and rivers while taking in the scenic red leaves.

In addition, the district designed culture and tourism routes that connect historical sites such as Doudaifu Temple, Duofu Temple, and Qingyang Nunnery with popular red leaf scenic areas, integrating cultural exploration with natural sightseeing.

In recent years, Jiancaoping has promoted the integration of agricultural, cultural, scientific, sports, and tourism resources to support the development of the district's culture and tourism industry.

This event is expected to deepen the integrated development of culture and tourism, enhance supporting facilities, promote industrial collaboration, strengthen brand communication, and increase the popularity of "Juewei red leaves" and "Fushan culture".
