The 2025 Daylily Industry Development Conference took place on July 22 in Datong, bringing together industry leaders, experts, scholars, and business elites from across the country to celebrate achievements in the daylily industry and to strategize its future high-quality development, reinforcing Datong's reputation as the "Capital of Daylilies".

Datong is committed to optimizing and expanding its daylily industry by strengthening foundational infrastructure, extending the industrial chain, enhancing brand influence, expanding market channels, and improving industrial efficiency.

Product ranges have expanded from traditional dried daylilies to over 130 items, including daylily beer, pastries, sauces, and cultural creations. These products have also penetrated international markets, including the United States, Canada, and Japan.

Liu Junyi, mayor of Datong, emphasized the city's commitment to establishing a collaborative platform for industry-academia-research exchanges, refining industry planning, and increasing financial investments to elevate the daylily industry into a leading national agricultural specialty. He urged experts and scholars to provide valuable insights and guidance to support the industry's growth.

The Daylily Price Index was also unveiled alongside the launch of the 2025 Datong Daylily Beer Festival. These events showcased key products from the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors of the industry, alongside signing ceremonies for projects covering plantation, processing, sales, and research and development.

As the centerpiece of the eighth Datong Daylily Harvest Festival, the conference underscores Datong's commitment to the high-quality development of the daylily industry. The festival has been recognized as one of China's "Top 100 Harvest Festival Events", serving as a crucial platform for advancing the industry and expanding farmers' income channels.

The event also featured a daylily production and marketing matchmaking conference, an industry development symposium, and tours to explore advanced processing enterprises, integrated agricultural and cultural tourism industries, and standardized planting bases.
