The 2026 China Cloud Travel Alliance Conference was held on March 14 in Datong, Shanxi province, bringing together over 300 cultural and tourism enterprises, leading travel agencies, and industry experts from across China to explore new opportunities.

A key highlight of the event was the release of the China Cloud Travel Digital Transformation White Paper for the Cultural and Tourism Industry, which provides a comprehensive guide for digital upgrades across the sector.

The Cloud Travel Digital Supply Chain Platform unveiled new products aimed at reducing costs and enhancing efficiency within the industry. Innovative projects, such as ChinaGo, were also introduced, offering fresh insights into digital transformation and industry innovation.

Participants discussed the application and development of new media in the cultural and tourism industry, as well as development paths for study, wellness, inbound, and high-value tourism.

The conference also promoted Datong's rich cultural and tourism resources, including a special focus on the Datong Huangjing Shijia traditional Chinese medicine wellness town.

Attendees were given a preview of the upcoming 2026 China Datong Boao International Wellness and Tourism Conference, alongside the launch of Shanxi Cultural Tourism Group's "Sing and Travel Shanxi" products.

The "Sing and Travel Shanxi" initiative introduces 13 themed routes, highlighting connectivity among the Yellow River, the Great Wall, and the Taihang No 1 tourist highway, and featuring Datong's renowned attractions, such as the Yungang Grottoes, Hanging Temple, and Huayan Temple.
