Datong's premium agricultural products made a notable impression at the 2026 Global Traditional Food and Nutraceutical Products Expo, held from June 5 to 7 in Xiamen, Fujian province.

Eight enterprises from the city showcased a diverse array of products, emphasizing astragalus and assorted grains. The astragalus offerings, particularly paste, tea, and wine, attracted significant attention, leading to numerous cooperation agreements.

A special promotional event for astragalus was also held, showcasing its superior quality, rich cultural heritage, and health benefits, particularly its role in boosting immunity.

Participating enterprises engaged with Xiamen counterparts and local business communities to reach cooperation agreements, propelling the market expansion of the city’s specialty agricultural products.

The expo also featured concurrent events such as the time-honored brands craftsmen conference, the additive-free wine and food promotion, and an industry matchmaking meeting.
