Renzu Mountain Scenic Area, an attraction from Jixian county, Linfen city, officially opened to visitors on March 20, following preparations and landscape upgrades over the last winter.

On opening day, the scenic area unveiled a fresh new look. The walkways were clean and smooth, the landscape meticulously arranged, and the guiding services thoughtful and attentive, creating a festive atmosphere. Visitors ascended the steps, admired the lush green peaks, paid homage to their roots before Renzu Temple, and reflected on the origins of civilization. The click of camera shutters and bursts of cheerful laughter intertwined, composing a delightful symphony of spring.

Renzu Mountain's main peak rises to an altitude of 1.74 kilometers. Boasting a remarkable forest coverage rate of 98 percent and peak negative oxygen ion concentration of up to 40,000 ions per cubic centimeter, the area is renowned as a "natural fresh air zone". Beyond its breathtaking natural scenery, the area is rich in cultural heritage, standing as the only mountain in China named after the "Renzu" (human ancestor). Within the scenic area, historical and cultural sites such as Renzu Temple, Fuxi Rock, and Gaomiao Temple mark it as an important birthplace of China's ancestral culture.

As a demonstration zone for cultural tourism and wellness in Shanxi province, Renzu Mountain Scenic Area has adopted an integrated development model that combines agriculture, forestry, culture, tourism, and wellness. By improving infrastructure, innovating cultural tourism offerings, and enhancing service quality, the scenic area is developing itself into a distinctive cultural tourism and wellness brand that integrates ecological conservation, cultural education, agricultural experiences, and wellness tourism.
