Yaodu district

Linfen city and Linfen county were established in April 1937 and were merged into Linfen county in June 1949. They were re-established as separate entities under the administration of Linfen region in 1971.
Hongtong county

Hongtong county is located in the southern part of Shanxi province, at the northern end of the Linfen Basin.
