Shanxi Youchuan New Energy Co (Shanxi Youchuan), founded in December 2023 in the Ganting Industrial Park of Linfen Economic Development Zone, operates a 6,800-square-meter facility specializing in zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel frames for the photovoltaic sector, with an integrated production, education, and research model that drives green, low-carbon development.

The company has taken the lead in establishing quality testing standards for photovoltaic frames, with its processing accuracy ensuring an error margin of no more than 0.15 millimeters, enhancing the stability and lifespan of photovoltaic modules.

Using advanced cold-roll forming technology, the company’s zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel frames boast significant advantages: corrosion resistance is three to five times greater than that of traditional aluminum alloy frames, tear resistance is improved by 30 percent, and strength is 1.6 times higher than that of standard aluminum frames.

The company's production energy consumption is only one-third of that for aluminum alloy frames, with costs reduced by 50 percent and carbon emissions by 84 percent. It has also secured eight patents, with five more under review.
