Qiliyu Scenic Area is a vast mountainous area filled with forests and green space. It is located in the heart of Huoshan Mountain, covering an area of 150,000 mu (10,000 hectares). Known for its rich biodiversity, it is considered the forest area with the best comprehensive ecological benefits in the province.

The scenic area is bordered by Lingkong Mountain in Qinyuan county to the east, Shigao Mountain in Lingshi county, and Mianshan Mountain in Jiexiu city to the north. It lies just 16 kilometers from the urban center.

The area has received numerous accolades, including recognition as a “National Forest Park”, “National Health Care Base”, “China Natural Oxygen Bar”, and “Provincial Wetland Park” by national and provincial authorities.
