The exhibition features over 100 paintings by Song Weiyuan and runs until July 18. These elegant brush-and-ink works allow visitors to appreciate the charm of traditional Chinese painting and offer a glimpse into the profound heritage of millennia-old artistic traditions.
Song, whose ancestral home is in Shanxi, has visited Linfen multiple times. He explained that the exhibition symbolizes the cultural enrichment of the Fenhe River's banks. His artwork reflects the features of traditional Chinese painting, showcasing artistic conception, inner character, and emotional expression.

Song remains committed to traditional painting while delving into the cultural heritage of southern Shanxi. Through overseas study and research, he has developed a style that combines the essence of tradition with his own personal touch. This exhibition aims to integrate traditional Chinese painting with Linfen's regional culture, fostering cultural exchange and dissemination.
