The Tanzanian NACTEVT Chinese and Vocational Skills Training Group visited Linfen Vocational and Technical College from May 26 to 27, where they engaged in vocational skills exchanges and cultural experience activities. This visit was part of a vocational education exchange program held across three cities – Changzhi, Taiyuan, and Linfen – in Shanxi, hosted by Shanxi Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and co-organized by Linfen Vocational and Technical College.

The training group toured multiple campuses of the college, as well as practical training facilities such as the animation laboratory, tea art room, smart manufacturing training center, and Traditional Chinese Medicine activity room, gaining insights into training equipment, specialized teaching, and talent development models.

The group also visited Shanxi innovation hub and Linfen premium micro-drama base to learn about local science, as well as technology innovation and digital cultural creation industries.
Members of the training group praised the progress in digitalization and intelligent transformation within vocational education in Linfen, and expressed their approval of the local innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, as well as the development model of the micro-drama industry. They noted that the region has successfully integrated its rich historical and cultural heritage with modern technological innovation.

This exchange fostered mutual learning in vocational education between China and Tanzania, while advancing the internationalization of Linfen Vocational and Technical College. The college stated that it will continue to expand international cooperation channels and deepen vocational education exchanges with institutions in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
