Linfen's bureau of ecology and environment organized employees from two water services companies to visit Canvest Environmental Protection Group on June 2. The visit gave participants a firsthand look at the full process of converting household waste into valuable resources, combining on-site observation with educational demonstrations of waste-to-resource technologies.

The visitors explored various sections of the facility, including a planning model of the plant, a central control monitoring display, the waste incineration production workshop, and the supporting sewage treatment station.

The guide explained the entire treatment process: household waste is weighed and sent to a storage silo for fermentation, after which it enters an incinerator operating at over 850 C. The heat generated by the incineration process is converted into electricity, and the resulting slag is processed into eco-friendly paving bricks used for municipal walkways. For comparison, the waste produced by five people in a single day can generate enough electricity to meet the daily needs of one individual.

The central control room uses a monitor to provide real-time supervision of incineration conditions and pollutant emissions, ensuring digitalized management of the entire production process.

This visit offered participants a vivid demonstration of the methods used for the safe treatment and resource recovery of household waste, helping them gain a comprehensive understanding of the full industrial chain of waste-to-energy conversion and solid waste reuse.
