Liang Jing, an actress with the Xiaomeihua Puju Opera Troupe of Linfen Cultural and Art School (Linfen Puju Opera Art Inheritance and Development Center), was recently invited to participate in the Opera Universe Malaysia cultural exchange program organized by Shandong TV, marking the first time Puju Opera has been showcased in Malaysia through a dedicated cultural exchange initiative.

At the opening ceremony, Liang, as the Chinese theatrical guest representative, delivered a speech introducing the artistic features and status of Puju Opera. She also performed a farewell-themed excerpt from the mythological Puju Opera Jing Wei Fills the Sea.

During her visit, Liang participated in local cultural exchanges and performed again at the China-Malaysia Opera Exchange Gala, showcasing the Rebirth excerpt from Jing Wei Fills the Sea.

The opera Jing Wei Fills the Sea is inspired by Chinese mythology and conveys the traditional cultural spirit of perseverance and resilience. Through her two captivating performances, Liang introduced Malaysian audiences to the stage artistry of Puju Opera.
