Pingding Clayware Cultural Demonstration Zone
The Pingding Clayware Cultural Demonstration Zone covers a total area of 8,000 square meters and a shopping area of 3,000 square meters in Pingding county, Yangquan city.
The establishment of the demonstration zone aims to promote the development of the purple clayware cultural industry in Pingding county. The demonstration zone is a cultural landmark of Pingding and a window to display the culture of Pingding clayware to the whole country.
There are more than 20 businesses, 100 staff members and 150 professional artists in the demonstration area. The interior decoration of 19 shops has been completed and 60 percent of the exhibits have been displayed, covering more than 500 varieties of purple clayware, clayware and ceramics, as well as three major varieties of forsythia black tea, green tea and Pu'er tea.
Pingding county will promote the demonstration zone's clayware-related cultural and investment policies through online and offline channels, such as new media platforms, offline competitions and exhibitions. The goal is to promote the development of the local clayware industry.
The demonstration zone has implemented a rent reduction policy for enterprises that settle in the zone in its first three years, with rent being halved over the next two years. The measure also covers part of the preliminary store decoration costs, as well as utilities (water, electricity and heating).
A one-time reward of 50,000 to 200,000 yuan ($7,688 to 30,753) is given to those who settle in the zone for two years and are certified as a protection organization or inheritor of intangible cultural heritage at or above the municipal level.
A one-time reward of 50,000 to 100,000 yuan will be given to entities that open direct-sales stores in first- and second-tier cities.
Enterprises entering the park will each be granted discounted loans of 300,000 to 500,000 yuan within three years, according to their business scale.
The demonstration zone plans to set up a special fund of 5 million yuan for the county's clayware, ceramics and herbal tea enterprises, offering financial incentives and subsidies in fixed investment return, mud development, participation in national exhibitions, skills training, job title evaluation, rent and the advanced study of high-end talent from Yangquan city.
