The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opened on May 23 in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, and five enterprises from Yangquan city immediately attracted attention.

The businesses from Yangquan, North China's Shanxi province, displayed fine exhibits such as purple sand teapots, sand pottery and eggshell paintings at the fair.

Running for five days until the end of business on May 27, the fair includes eight exhibition halls covering various fields including cultural industries, integrated cultural tourism, cultural consumption and intangible cultural heritage.

The Shanxi exhibition area is located at Hall 11 (in the Cultural Industry Complex B Hall B07). It's exploring themes like cultural industry achievements, the preservation of cultural heritage and outstanding cultural enterprises, along with investment promotions and live streaming sales areas.

The exhibition covers an area of 756 square meters, with over 80 companies from Shanxi province that are featuring more than 50 categories and 5,000 exhibits.

Five cultural enterprises from Yangquan – Shanxi Pingding Liangjingjing Sand Earthen Pot Co, Pingding Guanyao Pottery Art Co, Shanxi Yinghe Purple Sand Research and Development Co, Shanxi Purple Sand Research Institute Co and Shanxi Hongya Folk Culture Art Co – proved to be particularly popular with visitors.

Among them, Shanxi Yinghe Purple Sand Research and Development Co was participating in the event for the second time and it brought smaller, more delicate and portable purple sand teapots that buyers love.

These teapots are said to produce a stronger aroma of the beverage, prompting many visitors to inquire about prices and to make purchases.
