As April unfolds, Yangquan's countryside transforms into a vibrant spring tapestry, adorned with white apricot blossoms, pink peach flowers, and yellow forsythia. This colorful display is more than just a feast for the eyes; it's a strategic initiative to boost the local economy through flower tourism, breathing new life into rural communities.

On April 11, Hongshui village in Pingding county launched its third Forsythia Flower Viewing Festival. Guo Ruiquan, the village's Party secretary, highlighted the village's efforts to develop its forsythia planting industry, including establishing a forsythia tea processing factory. Hong added that the event is crucial to elevating the village's profile and showcasing its agricultural achievements.

Taolingou village in Pingtan town is alive with the vibrant hues of peach blossoms. The 22nd Peach Blossom Festival, which began on April 10, draws numerous "flower chasers" eager to experience nature's spectacle.

These picturesque rural scenes underscore Yangquan's commitment to ecological development. The city's comprehensive approach to managing mountains, water, air, and urban areas, coupled with systematic natural resource governance, ensures the enduring beauty of Yangquan's environment, benefiting its residents.

Villages capitalize on these opportunities by creating unique floral landscapes and offering diverse agritourism activities. These initiatives transform the villages' aesthetic appeal into economic value, achieving the dual goals of beautifying and strengthening rural communities.
