Taiwan entrepreneurs and youths explore opportunities in Yangquan
Over 60 Taiwan entrepreneurs and youths visited Yangquan from Aug 1 to 4 to explore the city's business environment, cultural heritage, and development potential.
The event is part of the "Taiwan Entrepreneurs and Youths Visit Shanxi" series launched in 2021. It has become a vital platform for strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi and Taiwan, promoting integration and development.
The event was anchored by a promotional conference and complemented by a series of activities, including visits to key high-tech enterprises, vocational exchanges, and cultural tours.
Yangquan authorities presented a comprehensive overview of the city's urban profile, industrial layout, investment environment, and future development plans, highlighting Yangquan's unique industrial advantages, rich heritage, and robust innovation-driven development.
The delegation explored key industrial chains and specialized towns, engaging in vocational exchanges that covered the transformation of selenium-rich agricultural research achievements, innovations in traditional sandware industries, and the development of the new energy materials industry.
Participants gained insights into the application of digital intelligence and witnessed the practical outcomes of smart manufacturing and industrial transformation.
The delegation also toured coal mine training bases, geological culture parks, and specialized training rooms for ceramics, traditional Chinese medicine, and chemistry, and visited the 1947 Yangquan Memory Cultural Park, experiencing the touching stories of Yangquan residents.
