Yangquan made a significant impact at the third Shanxi Professional Towns Investment and Trade Expo, held on Sept 17 in Datong.

The Yangquan booth featured nearly 200 unique products from 13 specialty towns, with a focus on the Sand Pottery Town, Apple Town, and Selenium-Rich Agriculture Town.

Visitors were captivated by a range of local delicacies, including selenium-rich millet foods, roasted buns, and apple crisps, as well as exquisite sand pottery. A standout attraction was the "Wei'erkang" beverage, which impressed attendees with its refreshing and sweet flavors.

An unexpected highlight was the creative pairing of "Wei'erkang" with Fenjiu liquors from the nearby Lyuliang booth, resulting in cocktails praised by Datong resident Ms Lei for their fruity aroma and refreshing taste.

The Pingding Selenium-Rich Agricultural Specialty Town showcased a diverse array of products made from selenium-rich millet, such as crisps, pancakes, vinegar, and rice snacks.

A notable feature was the innovative packaging, which utilized a clay pot to symbolize the synergy between the Pingding Selenium-Rich Agricultural and Pingding Pottery Specialty Towns.
